Choir Choir enables congregational and choral singing at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Eucharist as well as other special liturgies between September and June. The repertoire encompasses a wide variety of styles from traditional to contemporary. All men and women high school age or older are invited to join. Knowledge of music is not required. Practices are held in Church on Wednesday evenings. Saint James School Handbell Choir Saint James School Handbell Choir enhances special liturgical celebrations throughout the academic year. Knowledge of music is helpful but not required. The choir consists of boys and girls in grades six through eight. Practices are held after school on Thursdays in Church. Instrumentalists Instrumentalists (brass, woodwinds, strings, guitars, etc.) are used during the year in an effort to further enhance our parish worship. They are called on as needed. There are no regular rehearsals. An audition/interview with the Saint James Music Director is required. |
